Chillin' With My 'Peeps' Activities

Hey ya'll!  It's almost Easter!  I've found some really cute activities to do with marshmallow Peeps!

I love this dissolving Peeps science experiment from Mom to 2 Posh Lil' Divas.  I don't know if I can look at Peeps the same way now!  HA!
Visit E is for Explore for even more science experiments with Peeps!
Michelle at Apples and ABC'c:  Adventures in Kindergarten has a cute math activity with Peeps!  Click here for the craft part of making the Peeps.

Never thought of using Peeps to paint with...click here for the link from It Mom.

Of course after all the fun with Peeps a fun end of the day activity could be smores...with Peeps of course!

"How to Get a Girl": According to a First Grader

Hey ya'll!  This is just to cute not to share!  This was found in the first grade hall a couple of weeks ago when I was subbing!  My friend and I decided that it had to be from a first grader!  Ha!  Kids are so funny!

This is what it says:
Rule 1.  Dress nice.  'Were' clean shoes.  'Were' 'colone'.  Brush your hair.

Rule 2.  Don't talk like an idiot!!!!!  HA!!!  {That's my favorite!!!}

Rule 3.  TAKE OUT THE EARRING! (Not sure about that one!  I do know a fourth grade boy that has an earring...so I'm thinking this note was meant for him!)  HA!!!
I think this kid knows what she's talking about!

Top O' the Morning to Ya!

Hey ya'll!  Since it's almost St. Patrick's Day I thought I'd share some ideas that I've found from Pinterest.  First, I love this idea of shrinking styrofoam cups from Lindsey at The Teacher Wife.

For the younger kids, I love this Pot O Gold word sort from Michelle at Apples and ABC's:  Adventures in Kindergarten.

Next, is this pack from my friend Jennifer at First Grade Blue Skies.  How cute is this leprechaun?!?  Her pack from TPT has the glyp to make him, along with some math and writing included!

Stacy at Ms. Johnson's First Grade has a cute lucky clover math center freebie.

My sweet friend Angela from The Daily Alphabet has a darling freebie for learning the popular symbols of St. Patrick's Day!

Cara at The First Grade Parade has several precious ideas from last year!

Currently...

I've always had fun reading everybody's Currently posts...so I decided it's about time I joined in on the fun over at Farley's blog! For the last one, you had to pick three words that describe you--and that started with the first letter of your last name.  The first one is how your students would describe you.  Second is how your friends would describe you, and the third thing is how your family would describe you.  Seriously, N!  It was hard coming up with creative adjectives that start with N!  HA!  Happy almost Friday ya'll!!!
